The 10-second explanation
A QR pet tag is a small tag on your pet's collar with a unique QR code. When someone finds your lost pet, they scan the code with their phone camera. A webpage opens showing your pet's photo, name, and contact buttons. They tap one — you get an instant alert with their GPS location. No app, no signup, no waiting.
What the finder sees
When someone scans a TapReach pet tag, they see: your pet's photo and name, breed and colour, temperament (friendly, nervous), any medical alerts you've added, and quick-contact buttons. What they never see: your phone number, address, or any personal details.
What you receive
The moment someone scans and taps a message, you get an SMS, email, and WhatsApp alert — all at once. The alert includes what they said ("I found this pet"), the exact GPS location on Google Maps, and a link to reply. You can respond "On my way — 10 minutes" and they see it on their screen.
Why no app matters
Think about who finds lost pets: dog walkers, postal workers, kids, elderly neighbours. Will they download an app to help? Some will. Most won't. A QR tag that works with the camera app already on every phone removes that barrier completely.
What if my number changes?
Update it in your dashboard in 30 seconds. The tag stays the same — only your contact details change. Compare that to an engraved tag: new number means new tag.
